Curamericas Global 2019 Open House Recap!
Posted: April 4, 2019

Last Thursday, we hosted our annual Curamericas Global Open House at Artspace in downtown Raleigh. We enjoyed having over 50 guests in attendance, and came together as a community to learn more about Curamericas’ mission and vision.

In attendance were board members, advisors, staff, and volunteers, both old and new. The keynote speaker was none other than our co-founder Dr. Henry Perry. Dr. Perry spoke on the history of Curamericas Global, from its beginnings in Bolivia as Andean Rural Health Care, to the global organization that is today. Dr. Perry highlighted the value found in Curamericas’ team, and the importance of each individual that has devoted their time to bring hope through health.

We know that it takes a village to address the critical health needs of women and children in vulnerable communities around the world, and greatly appreciate every individual’s role in our life-saving work. Saving lives is not an easy task and our work would be much harder without the continuous support of our donors.

This is why we host our annual Open House, to bring the mission of Curamericas home. We want to consistently honor those who are already a part of our work, and invite new community members to experience our mission in action and consider taking part in our mission.
