Last year, donations like yours helped provide 15,738 children with much needed vaccinations, vitamins, and medical treatment.

By donating to Curamericas’ project in Guatemala, you can know that your money is directly helping families access health education and services to prevent infant and maternal mortality.

Your investment will fund vital aspects of the program:

• $15 provides two  pregnant women with prenatal vitamins throughout their pregnancies

• $50 provides one child with the necessary vaccinations vital for a healthy life

• $100 provides supplies for 4 safe deliveries including medications and care from trained medical staff

To put that in perspective, $1,000 can provide supplies for 40 safe deliveries, prenatal vitamins for over 130 women, or 20 children with vaccinations.

Since 2002, Curamericas Global has been working in some of the most isolated and impoverished areas in Guatemala. We have established a network of thousands of local Community Health Workers and community volunteers that reach a population of over 180,000 Mayans with vital health services and education. So far, Curamericas has greatly impacted this community by:

• Reducing child mortality by 37%
• Decreasing the maternal mortality rate by 63%
• Eliminating maternal deaths from infection and eclampsia
• Increasing the number of mothers who know how to properly diaper and dispose of infant feces by 44%, due to education efforts
