Amy’s experience and education lie in public health and non-profit work. She has worked in healthcare facilities, spent time with the American Red Cross, and is currently working for her state health department as an epidemiologist, working primarily with COVID response. Her work in public health has allowed her the opportunity to assist communities experiencing natural disasters and pandemic responses. Amy is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida and finds interest in studying tropical infectious diseases. She enjoys reading science fiction novels and playing the piano in her free time and can regularly be found at the beach with her dog.
