Since 1983, Curamericas Global, Inc. has worked in Latin America and the Caribbean. Haiti, Bolivia, and Guatemala have the highest child mortality rates in this region. Traditionally, these high mortality statistics come from rural or semi-urban communities. Preventable diseases like malnutrition, pneumonia, and complications from child birth can quickly lead to death in these areas where access to healthcare is limited. Curamericas Global's programs focus on teaching prevention and also help to establish health clinics in these areas of desperate need.

Based on our successes in these projects and the critical need worldwide, Curamericas Global looks forward to expanding our programs and reaching out to help those most in need across the globe.

A health worker in Guatemala conducts a Care Group. Care Groups are community workshops where women learn important information about nutrition, breastfeeding and other health topics.

A mother with her infant waits in a clinic in Montero, Bolivia. Our project in Montero supports three clinics.

A mother and child wait in the clinic in Senkata, Bolivia.  Senkata is one of two project areas in Bolivia.
