Youth Volunteer's "Walk for Hunger" Raises $1,300 for Bolivia
FUMC-Cary youth volunteer Megan Carroll organized a "Walk For Hunger" in April, inviting her friends, family, school, and community to participate along with local businesses and non-profits. The event was originally planned as part of a school project, but when the assignment was cancelled, Megan forged ahead. The event raised $1,300 for the FUMC-Cary Youth Mission Trip to La Paz Bolivia which is coming up this summer.
