Project Start Up
Since 1983, Curamericas Global has worked in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. Our current projects in Haiti, Liberia, Bolivia, and Guatemala have some of the highest child and maternal mortality rates in the world. Traditionally, these high mortality statistics come from rural or semi-urban communities. Preventable diseases like malnutrition, pneumonia, and complications from child birth can quickly lead to death in these areas where access to healthcare is limited. Curamericas Global's programs focus on education, prevention, and establishing relationships with existing health facilites in these areas of desperate need. Based on our successes in these projects and the critical need worldwide, Curamericas Global looks forward to expanding our programs and reaching out to help those most in need across the globe. |
